AIFO’s New Rules are now live across four trading paths: 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint. The update changes more than a few percentages. AIFO 1-Step now uses a 10% target with a 6% Static Maximum Loss Limit and no Consistency Score; 2-Step now uses 8% and 5% targets with a 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit; Instant now uses a 3% Daily Loss Limit and 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown; and Sprint keeps a focused 3% target inside a 24-hour challenge.

AIFO announced the new framework through its official X account under a simple principle: less complexity, more clarity and more flexibility. The announcement is the dated public record of the change. For exact account rules, traders should use the latest model-specific AIFO FAQ and the parameters displayed for their account.

Last checked: . This article covers the four account paths named in AIFO’s New Rules announcement: 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint. It does not assign a new 3-Step rule baseline because the announcement does not publish one. For accounts purchased under an earlier rule version, the parameters shown in the AIFO Dashboard should be checked before trading.

What Are the New AIFO Rules?

The new framework separates AIFO into four clearly defined trading paths. Each one uses a different qualification and risk structure rather than applying one universal set of AIFO rules.

AIFO New Rules overview, last checked 4 September 2026
AIFO model Core path Main target Key risk limits Main rule change or distinction
AIFO 1-Step One evaluation phase 10% 3% Daily Loss / 6% Static Maximum Loss Minimum 2 trading days; no 70% margin-usage restriction; no Consistency Score requirement
AIFO 2-Step Two evaluation phases 8% Phase 1 / 5% Phase 2 5% Daily Loss / 10% Static Maximum Loss Minimum 3 trading days; no Consistency Score requirement
AIFO Instant No traditional evaluation No traditional evaluation target 3% Daily Loss / 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown / 2% max floating loss per trade Immediate account access; 2% payout buffer; $100 minimum payout
AIFO Sprint 24-hour challenge 3% 2% Static Maximum Loss / 1% total floating-loss limit under current guidance Short, focused evaluation built around one 24-hour objective

The four models answer different trader needs. The goal of the update is not to make every AIFO account identical. It is to make each model’s boundaries easier to understand before a trade is placed.

What Changed for AIFO 1-Step?

AIFO 1-Step is now a one-phase evaluation with a 10% Profit Target, 3% Daily Loss Limit and 6% Static Maximum Loss Limit. Traders must complete at least 2 trading days.

The larger structural changes are the restrictions that have been removed:

  • 10% Profit Target
  • 3% Daily Loss Limit
  • 6% Static Maximum Loss Limit
  • Minimum 2 Trading Days
  • No 70% Margin Usage Restriction
  • No Consistency Score Requirement

The removal of the 70% margin-usage restriction is specific to 1-Step. Current AIFO guidance states that other account models remain subject to their applicable margin controls, so this rule should not be copied across the entire AIFO product range.

The move to a Static Maximum Loss also changes how traders plan risk. On a $100,000 1-Step account, a 6% Static Maximum Loss creates a $94,000 overall loss floor. That floor remains tied to the initial account size rather than following new equity highs.

For the live rule set, use the AIFO 1-Step Challenge FAQ.

What Changed for AIFO 2-Step?

AIFO 2-Step now uses an 8% Phase 1 target followed by a 5% Phase 2 target, with a 5% Daily Loss Limit and 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit. Traders must complete at least 3 trading days, and the current model has no Consistency Score requirement.

The new structure is:

  • Phase 1 Profit Target: 8%
  • Phase 2 Profit Target: 5%
  • Daily Loss Limit: 5%
  • Static Maximum Loss Limit: 10%
  • Minimum Trading Days: 3
  • Consistency Score: None

The 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit gives 2-Step a wider fixed account-level boundary than 1-Step. On a $100,000 account, the reference loss floor is $90,000 and remains fixed as the account grows.

The new target order also matters. Phase 1 now carries the higher 8% target, while Phase 2 requires 5%. Traders should therefore avoid relying on older articles or screenshots that show the previous target order.

Use the current AIFO 2-Step Challenge FAQ for the latest model-specific wording.

What Changed for AIFO Instant?

AIFO Instant remains the no-evaluation route, but its updated framework now centres on a 3% Daily Loss Limit, 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown and a 2% maximum floating loss per trade.

The current New Rules announcement highlights:

  • No traditional evaluation
  • 3% Daily Loss Limit
  • 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown
  • 2% Maximum Floating Loss Per Trade
  • 2% Profit Buffer
  • $100 Minimum Payout

Historical Maximum Drawdown means the account-level loss floor is linked to the highest historical equity reached under the applicable calculation and moves according to that high-water-mark structure. Current AIFO guidance describes this as a trailing-style limit capped at the initial account balance.

This makes Instant fundamentally different from the Static Maximum Loss used on the new 1-Step and 2-Step paths. A trader should therefore never treat “AIFO drawdown” as one universal rule.

The 2% profit buffer also matters after profitable trading. A partial payout must leave the applicable buffer in the account if the trader wants the account to remain active. A full withdrawal can close the account under the applicable payout rules.

Review the AIFO Instant Account FAQ and AIFO payout process before requesting a payout.

What Is AIFO Sprint?

AIFO Sprint is the new short-form AIFO path built around a 3% Profit Target inside a 24-hour challenge. It is designed for traders who prefer a tightly defined objective and short evaluation window rather than a longer multi-stage process.

Current AIFO guidance for Sprint includes:

  • 3% Profit Target
  • 24-hour challenge window
  • 2% Static Maximum Loss Limit
  • 1% total floating-loss limit
  • One open position at a time
  • Largest single-trade profit below 20% of total profit
  • One payout only

Sprint should not be interpreted as a faster version of 1-Step with identical rules. The tighter floating-loss limit, short clock and one-cycle payout structure create a different trading problem entirely.

Use the current AIFO Sprint FAQ for the complete account conditions.

How Do the Four New AIFO Paths Differ?

The simplest way to choose between the four models is to identify where the main pressure sits.

AIFO New Rules by trader decision
Trader preference Route to compare Main pressure Key rule to understand first
One evaluation phase 1-Step 10% target inside a 6% Static Maximum Loss boundary Static drawdown and 3% Daily Loss
Structured staged evaluation 2-Step Repeatable execution across an 8% and 5% target sequence 5% Daily Loss and 10% Static Maximum Loss
Immediate access without evaluation Instant Managing account risk and payout readiness from the first trade Historical Maximum Drawdown and 2% floating-loss rule
Fast, tightly defined challenge Sprint Completing a 3% objective inside 24 hours 1% floating-loss and 2% Static Maximum Loss limits

There is no universal “best” AIFO model. The best fit is the one whose target, drawdown method, time pressure and payout structure change the trader’s normal strategy the least.

What Do the New Rules Actually Mean for Traders?

The biggest change is the attempt to reduce rule interpretation before and during trading.

  • Fewer calculations on 1-Step and 2-Step. Static Maximum Loss means the overall floor is tied to the initial account size rather than moving with every new equity high.
  • No Consistency Score on 1-Step and 2-Step. Traders do not need to shape funded-stage performance around a dedicated Consistency Score formula on these two routes.
  • More 1-Step execution flexibility. The 70% margin-usage restriction has been removed specifically for the 1-Step model.
  • Clearer separation of account types. Instant retains a historical high-water-mark drawdown structure, while Sprint uses a tighter short-duration risk box.
  • Lower payout entry point on the updated framework. The current 1-Step, 2-Step and Instant guidance uses a $100 minimum payout.

The easier rule to understand is not automatically the easier account to trade. Risk limits still define hard account boundaries, and exceeding an applicable Daily Loss or Maximum Loss Limit can close the account.

What About the AIFO 3-Step Challenge?

The official New Rules announcement covers 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint. It does not publish a new 3-Step rule baseline.

For that reason, this article does not copy historical 3-Step targets or drawdown values into the new framework. Traders should not assume that an old 3-Step article, table or cached search result represents the current New Rules release.

If AIFO publishes or approves a new 3-Step rule set separately, that model should be updated as its own versioned rule record rather than inferred from the four paths above.

Where Should You Check the Latest AIFO Rules?

When a rule update has just gone live, use AIFO sources in this order:

  1. Account Dashboard: use the parameters attached to the exact account you purchased.
  2. Model-specific FAQ: use the latest FAQ for 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant or Sprint.
  3. AIFO Trading Rules: use the Trading Rules Hub for the wider rule framework once the model table has been synchronised.
  4. Official AIFO social channels: use the X announcement as a dated signal that a new rules version has gone live.
  5. Blogs and comparison pages: use them for explanation and model selection, but verify numbers against the current first-party rule source.

This source hierarchy is especially important during a rule migration because old search-engine caches, screenshots and third-party reviews can continue showing the previous AIFO values after a newer rule version is live.

Frequently Asked Questions

AIFO’s New Rules announcement covers four paths: 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint. 1-Step now uses a 10% target, 3% Daily Loss and 6% Static Maximum Loss. 2-Step uses 8% and 5% targets, 5% Daily Loss and 10% Static Maximum Loss. Instant uses a 3% Daily Loss Limit, 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown and 2% floating-loss limit per trade. Sprint uses a 3% target inside a 24-hour challenge.

No. The current AIFO 1-Step rule baseline has no dedicated Consistency Score requirement. The model also removes the 70% margin-usage restriction that applies to other account models.

No. The current AIFO 2-Step baseline has no dedicated Consistency Score requirement. Its current targets are 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2, with a 5% Daily Loss Limit and 10% Static Maximum Loss Limit.

AIFO Instant uses a 5% Historical Maximum Drawdown under the current New Rules framework. Current AIFO guidance describes this as a high-water-mark-based trailing structure rather than the Static Maximum Loss used on 1-Step and 2-Step.

AIFO Sprint is a 24-hour challenge built around a 3% Profit Target. Current guidance also uses a 2% Static Maximum Loss Limit and a 1% total floating-loss limit, making it a short and tightly controlled account path.

The official New Rules announcement covers 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Sprint and does not publish a new 3-Step numerical rule baseline. Traders should not infer new 3-Step values from this announcement.
